self-fulfilling prophecies - time to sell?
Okay, so I've been saying for months we're in a recession and that it will get worse. Today CNBC is saying this is the 4th or 5th day in a row that the market has declined. People being interviewed are very nervous about that. CNBC is now reporting that companies like CAT, 3M and Honeywell are saying the U.S. economy is bad and that we are in a recession.
If there is a lot of negative sentiment out there (which there seems to be today) then I can see this causing the market to decline even further. Its that whole fear thing. So I am thinking it may be a good time to get out and sit in cash for a few weeks. Just a thought.....
