Anyone using stockinvestor.com

Has anyone tried using stockinvestor.com and their software? I ordered it and just got the package and he was an original founder of investools. It's 480 for the whole shooting match; I haven't installed the software yet but was curious if anyone else has tried it...

Re: Anyone using stockinvestor.com

I checked it out. They need $49.95 to get started. They ship you their CD and you get to try it out for 30 days. Your first $49.95 gets you $195.00 worth of products and servcies???

They use a Red & Green arrows system & stock scan to find the "Rosette Stone" and it's entry & exit points.

You can sign up for their weekly news letter with an e-mail address & a first name. Nice web site easy on

the eyes and not a lot of junk!

Good luck!

Slacknerd - I'm very interested in this software. Will you give us an update about its usability, layout, etc. once you have installed it and tried it out? That would be great.

Re: Anyone using stockinvestor.com

I'll check it out and let everyone know. I'm going to install it tomorrow afternoon. Have been poring over the information that came with it. I'm not seeing any ongoing costs associated with it. The $480 sticker price is payable in $60 chunks. It also comes with a free 30 minute consult with one of their "experts".
Initial impression is that it looks an awful like Investools and is geared toward the same demographic. Again, this is my initial take on it.

Good Hunting!

Kind of wish they would have picked a different web address. stockinvestor.com seems to have an shady past.

Stockinvestor.com Update

I finally installed the software. One nice thing right from the start is that it is a dual use/single user license. What that means is you can install it on 2 machines and use the same account on both. Not concurrently, but at least then you can have it installed at home and at work/on a laptop.
The software is pretty straightforward and provides all the charts and lists you would expect. The software seems to be pretty customizable; I haven't ventured down that route yet, the Excel spreadsheet that Phil has put together works well enough for me at this point. In addition, the software does NOT provide real time info.

I just started working through the included DVD's so I really can't comment on those right now.

The only drawback so far with this site is that I called for the free solution and they put the hardsell on to buy the big package. I don't like that. One the plus side, I have had several calls to see if I had any questions with the software.

My completely unscientific test method is to research the same companies in the spreadsheet and the software and see how closely they jive.

I'll post more as I work through it.
