#1: Be an active participant!

The absolute most important thing one can do is remain an active participant within the forums.  When you come across an interesting topic don't hesitate to respond to the thread.  Perhaps you just agree and want to thank the original poster for his or her comments.  Or perhaps you have an alternative opinion in response to something that is said.  Either way, the benefits of active participation will pay dividends in the long run.  With each new comment we have a new perspective on a particular subject.  With each new perspective our collective bank of knowledge continues to grow.  On the other hand, if we assume that sharing our thoughts isn't worthwhile we usher in a vicious cycle of inactivity that only feeds on itself.  As they say, action begets action - inaction begets inaction.  So - please don't ever hesitate to share your thoughts or opinions with us, as they are always welcome!

ROICommunity's team of developers are always looking for an extra hand!  We have several projects that are constantly evolving and being perfected to achieve maximum functionality for the end user.  These open-source projects are built and maintained by a small team of talented individuals with various areas of expertise in the programming field.  If you have experience with using some of the more advanced features of Microsoft Excel, and are interested in volunteering a few hours a month towards the development and maintenance of any of these projects please feel free to contact me at admin@roicommunity.com.
