Autodesk (ADSK)

Autodesk, Inc. is a design software and services company. The Company offers solutions to customers in the building, manufacturing, infrastructure and digital media markets that enable them to create, manage and share their data and designs digitally. Most of its solutions are personal computer (PC) based. It offers horizontal design solutions, such as AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT, and a range of discipline-specific design and documentation tools, including its AutoCAD-based vertical solutions and 3D design solutions. The Company's products are sold in over 160 countries, both directly and through its network of approximately 1,700 resellers and distributors. The Company is organized into two operating segments, the Design Solutions Segment, and Media and Entertainment Segment. On April 5, 2006, the Company acquired Alias Systems Holdings, Inc. (Alias).

MOS: $17.06
Current Price: $38.08


This also looks like a great Rule #1 company. What do you all think? Let me know if any of my calculations are incorrect.

It looks like a good company to put on your watch list, just not the right time to buy.. But what do I know I'm new at this..

These guys definately have a brand and switching moat when it comes to Autocad. Its the industry standard for the majority of the design and construction world and if you dont have one of their licences it doesnt work. They have also been releasing versions of autocad for over 15 years and no other application gets anywhere near to competing with it.
