Ok, ingo. I got it. You must be a teacher...

krypticide, there is a lot of info. for me in what you write. I hate paper cuts so your idea is appealing but since you move away some from phil's instruction would you mind sharing how long you been trading and have you had any loses?

txholdm, what is the 2 day selling?

It sounds like the 3 of you watch the 30(or 50)MA and as long as that line is in an up trand you stay in. Please correct me if I got it wrong.

Question Moat

The numbers look good. I also stongly believe in the public's "need" for the stuff those three names are selling, and would love to "own" this company. But I am still not sure about moat? Is there anything anyone see to suppurt a great moat here?

That is a good question. Also, note that the equity growth is SLOWING down! This is something that would concern me.

I haven't been at this very long, and I am still currently paper trading. However, a good way to test is to use the new Yahoo! Charts. It lets you scroll through dates very easily. After working with my dad and finding out that the indicators kept burning us (he's actively traded for many years now), we decided to use the historical charts to test new and perhaps better strategies.

Please see this thread on what we're doing.

Mira,

As has already been pointed out, there is still a pretty good uptrend in BBBY, so I wouldn't sell yet. But one option if it looks like there might be a reversal, or if you get a second red, is to place a pretty tight "stop" on it.

If you bought in at the last 3 greens it was around 34. Even though its at 40, it looks like there is natural support around 38. That might be a good place to put the stop (or just below). If it keeps going up youe'r safe, and if it goes down you end up with a nice 10-12% gain in just a couple of weeks. Seems like a win/win - you win either way.
