Jeff from Pennsylvania

Hi all!

I'm a 23 year old who just graduated college last year with B.S. in Safety and Environmental Management. Currently working down in New Orleans.

I was so glad to stumble upon Phil's book, and just as glad to stumble upon this great website. I have gained an enormous amount of knowledge from this site.

Justin keep up the excellent work and thanks for all you have done!

Hello from Washington!

Just wanted to say Hi and thanks for creating a site that is asking all the right questions! Love the spreadsheets! Outstanding! That saves me a lot of time trying to follow the Buffettology book calculating valuations and reviewing Morningstar reports.

I have been learing about investing for about the last five years. Reciently learning more about technical concepts and looking at software to automate the searching and analysis process. I reciently went through the Investools class and hope to continue my education further. I am a computers systems administator/programmer/network engineer who loves the idea that I can use all my logic and technical skills to work find and trade opportunities in the market!

Joe

Hey Kurtis,

Welcome to the forum. What I've been doing as far as a watch list is to populate the Quick & Dirty spreadsheet. I then keep an eye on that, check the Business Week chart, and make my buy/sell decisions. Not sure if this is what you're thinking or not but you might want to check it out:

Let us know if we can be of any more help.

Alex from Missouri

Hi All,
I am IT Project Manager from St. Louis. 3 years ago I started to learn Forex / Stock marker as a hobby, so far with paper trading only.
Recently before my flight for a vacation, I found 'Rule One' book at Lambert airport and...the flight was unusually short
It looks like this book will be part of my next paper trading project.
Thanks for you guys for this wonderful forum and hope to learn from 'the gurus' :)

Thumbs up Hi from Europe

Hi,
I am female, married, a teacher and in my 50s. I got the Rule #1 book as an audiobook and I'm fascinated. I've learnt a lot: Buy only the best! Wait for green lights to go in! Wait for red lights to go out! And - very important - don't catch a falling knife.

My problem is: I'm very bad at waiting!
