Welcome! I highly suggest you do some paper trading first; one time of getting burned can really make the slight hill in front of you look like a mountain. Read up, practice, use historical charts like with Yahoo, and jump in when you're confident!

Hi everyone from sunny Florida!

Greetings! I just finished reading Rule #1 and was very methodically going through all the archives on Phil's website when I saw this community mentioned. I swung on over and when I saw how Justin has set it up, I thought "I've found it!" and immediately joined.

WOW! So much information! I've spent the whole day reading this site. Thank you everyone for sharing your hard won successful actions. This is just what a beginner needs. I want to get to the point where I'm sharing great ideas with everyone too!

I'm ready to pick my stocks and start paper trading. The adventure is about to begin! I'll let you know how I'm doing.

Pat

This is a very nice, burgeoning community, one that's based on something that's very grounded in logic and not speculation. Welcome!

Hi Dan, it’s good so see someone else from the mile high city here. Actually I live just down the street in Parker. I think that there is at least one other Coloradan here, Andybud, and from his posts, he's a musician too.

Mac User Bummed Out

Bummer

I stumbled onto this great site, saw the neat spreadsheet, downloaded it, then found out it didn't work on a Mac.

Bummer

Anyone know why it does not work on a Mac? Anyone trying to fix it?

Hi Rich,

You're not the first to ask. I've never used a Mac so I'm not familiar with why they won't work with these spreadsheets. It would definitely be nice if someone were to develop a Mac version.
