The absolute biggest thing you can do for this Community is stay active. When you have questions, don't ever hesitate to ask. There is always someone else who is wondering the same thing you are.

See you in the boards

Smile Hello from Malaysia!

Hi,

My name is Kim Yoon, I am 34 male from Malaysia, I have tried various investment and trading method and after reading Rule #1 , I believe is a must to have a longer term investment method such as Rule #1 and other trading method such as, Forex, Options and Futures trading will be my income generating strategy. Long term investment + short term cashflow strategy hope this will be good combination. (BTW the long term will be 80% of the investment fund, while 20% will be for the short term trading.)

I love golf (just started.) Malaysia is a great place to play, do contact me should you come play golf in Malaysia :)

Regards,
Kim Yoon

Welcome, and it's always good to see someone really take a step back, assess their situation, and admit that they need to get on track. Nothing worse than living in ignorant bliss!

Rule #1 is great for financial offense, and I suggest reading The Millionaire Next Door to get some pointers on playing financial defense (i.e. not spending so much). In light of that, it seems that you're like me; you can't afford to spend money on tools that you aren't yet sure will absolutely benefit you. Don't jump in and start spending if you haven't even made money yet.

If you feel like you need to use the arrows, go ahead. Just be careful that you don't make any mistakes. It's always good to totally understand what you're doing without needing someone to do it for you (e.g. draw arrows). To take control you need to know what's going on. That'd be my advice.

Otherwise, welcome and hope to see you around!

Welcome! Are you Korean by ethnicity? I worked in Singapore for 5 months after graduating MIT and I briefly ventured into Malaysia at Desaru Beach. Beautiful country!

I'll give it a try

I am not a programmer, but I have done some html and basic in the past. If someone could help me understand the underlying structure, I'd be glad to poke around a little and see if I can get it to work on a mac. Is there anything written up on the current version? I found the query function, but am confused as to how to know what pages to access, etc.

Rich
