Hi RavenTwo, yes, I invest/trade US stocks amongst others.
Mainly options on them though. My primary trades are in currencies, both intraday as end of day. But as my account grows, I want to put some of it in LT (growth)stocks. So I was looking for some kind of longer term investments, and ran into the NAIC methode. From there I've seen all kind of ideas, wich some of them are worthwhile to investigate further. I also ran into this site on my search, definitly a bookmarker. Will take some time to figure out what all the figures like "MOS" on the exelsheet mean, and how figures are computed And ofcourse, how I can use it to my advantage. ![]() |

Thanks for the advice.
krypticide,
Thanks for the advice and the welcome. Yesterday, I read the whole thread you started on 'Lets find a new strategy together'. It really opened my eyes to a lot of possibilities. You all talk in language I can understand (most of the time). I am learning so much and trying not to get overwhelmed. For once I am getting excited and comfortable about investing. Thanks, John |

Hello from The Great State of Texas
Hello all. I bring greetings from Texas, the Lone Star State! I've been investing since 1989. At that time, I was investing in mutual funds. A few years later I began to invest in stocks through DRIPs. I was doing ok until the 2000 to 2002. At that time, half of my portfolio's value was lost. In March I bought Phil Town's book, and it opened up my eyes to a world of new possibilities in stock investing.
This forum looks great and I look forward to contributing and learning from everyone. Thanks!! |
