Can you elaborate on that? Or perhaps take a screenshot?

Welcome! My dad was a bit like that back in the day, and now we're on much better track. Keep it up!

Legion, I have had the same problem for past week or so. Thought it would sort itself out.

Diane

Legion/Dianne: I'm sorry but I am oblivious as to what you guys are talking about. Is this occuring here in the forum? Please take a screenshot of the error you are referring to and email it to me at admin@roicommunity.com

To take a screenshot press the "Print Scrn" button on your keyboard. This will capture the viewable contents of your display to your clipboard. From there, open some sort of image software such as "mspaint" (comes standard with windows) and paste the clipboard contents there. You can load "mspaint" by clicking start, run, and type "mspaint". Then paste (control+v) and you should now have a screenshot image that can be saved to your computer. Save it and email it to me so that I can get the matter sorted out asap!

If you need further assistance, drop me an email or private message. Thanks!

Glad to be here

Hi all,
A mechanical designer now and iso more finances like most I guess...
A old school musical type, blues, reggae, many others, love live performances and I'm a Prince, B. Marley, B. Guy, SRV fan, etc... I like real talents.

Never trusted the stock brokers! Rule 1 is the perfect DIY way for me. It sounds reasonable to me.

Will you help me confirm something in Phil's book? Am I right or wrong?
Pages 105 and 108 show many inccorect calculations, I'm quite sure, unless I'm missing something....

Otherwise, the MSN spreadsheet looks great and I'll give it a try....
Does anyone have a version of this spreadsheet that will work in openoffice?

Take Care all...

Hello and welcome to our community :)

KQB has been working on a version of the spreadsheet that works in OpenOffice, you can jump in on that discussion here: http://www.roicommunity.com/forum/automatic-margin-safety-calculators/357-automated-mos-calculator-open-office.html

See you around!

Legion---I just joined tonight and I am having the exact same problem. Specifically---on the Blog portion of the site the performance history of the Rule One stocks on the left blocks the main text in the middle of the page. The column on the right with the downloadable calculators and various subject headings obscure a good portion of the main text also. Hopefully Justin can tell us how to remedy. Welcome aboard!

Greg

Ok the image was too big for the width provided in the blog. Looking ahead to what is in store for the blog, I can see this is going to be a recurring problem. Luckily, the blog is going through a major overhaul and over the next few days we will be testing some new designs.

For now, I removed the image from the blog post. Thanks for the patience
