getting started

Saw Phil on a cable station and he seemed down to earth and trustworthy. Picked up the book read it in a few days and started doing some homework.

I hooked up an investopedia account and going to do some paper trading.

I challenged my wife and family to read the book and change their lives with me. We will see what happens.

New from Texas

Hi......... I am from South Texas close to Corpus Christi. I just bought and read Phil's Rule #1 book a couple of weeks ago and I am going to have to read it again. I just found this website and I have been looking at it for a couple of weeks. It has given me a little insite into trading by reading the questions and answers on the forums. This is my first experience with forums and threads online, so it is all greek to me. Just to wind it up, I am glad to participate with some fellow investors in the search for making money. See you in the black. Thanks.
Mike

Wink new in southeren Maine

 I am Andy, I have invested for years, lost alot in the last BEAR market to professional managers, and some of my bad choices.
I read Phil's and Cramer's book last spring. I read Cramer's radio and TV recaps, and in last two weeks signed up with investools.
So far I would say that investools has taken most of the fear out of investing. I am in the process of learning and changing from bad stocks to ones that will go up. I am 55 and have a long ways to go to get enough to retire any time soon.

Wink New Rule#1 member to join... say hi to you.

Hello Everyone,

It is great to join the ROIC, learning the most amazing way to earn our own retire savings by Rule#1 to investing. I am happy to meet you all here.

I just surf the ROIC website throughout pages. I really admire those who contribute their own works to us. Thank you.

I wish I could do the same some times.
