Re: Time to buy

If you're a chart reader the chart said to get out of FCX on October 14. Which means I would expect the stock to keep going down in price for a while.

On RIMM the MACD crossed on October 15 and the Stochastic crossed on October 10. Those are 2 sell signals that are supposed to portend a decline in the stock price.

The market has been so volatile though that I don't know if the charts can be trusted or not. I'm still learning. But according to the charts both stocks (for what its worth) should be declining in price.

Re: Time to buy

Hi npg,
Thank you for the reply. Answer to your question was; I did some calculation about RIMM, and FCX. I saw that it has a good MOS and both companies has good management and checked EPS, ROIC and all are good. So I bought those stocks 4 weeks ago. But when the market went so down last week, my both stocks got sold since I set up a "trailing stop loss". I did not lose money with those stocks and did not earn much either. So I checked it again and saw still I can make money with those stocks and bought it back again.
Thank you,

Maybe you should state why you bought a stake in FCX and RIMM? That's always a good start.

Re: Time to buy

Hi npg,

I tried to reply you yesterday and somehow it did not go through. Thank you for the information link and I read it. I felt like that they were talking about me who does not have much money and so impatient to make some:)
Regarding RIMM and FCX, I did some research on these and bought it few weeks ago. Then I set up a $8 "trailing stop loss". Some how I lost it during the market went down last week. I did not lose money and ended up gaining only $520. I did check those two stocks out again and saw I can buy it within the MOS. So I went ahead and bought it again. Hopefully I did the right move or may be I was too impatient since I couldn't wait till it goes down lower.

Thank you so much for your kind reply. I am making a list of things to check daily on those stocks I own, so that I will not get in to trouble
