Good! Now you know why I like to deploy extra cash into severe weaknesses like these. You need to be sure about the quality of your holdings though.

If bad market sentiment makes you suddenly doubt then it is a good time to re-examine whether you are not jumping too quickly into positions without giving the business enough consideration. If you go in because of price alone then it's going to be hard to have confidence in your investments once sentiment swings the other way. And the sentiment will always swing to other way. Little corrections like these are absolutely nothing. They are noise.
