ADR's and Balance sheet values
International accounting practices allow companies to right up the value of their assets to market value, while US GAAP requires companies to record them at book, or price paid. To me, that seems that it would screw up ROIC. Any thoughts? I saw nothing in the Rule 1 book about that.
