Thumbs up Empire of Debt: The Rise of an Epic Financial Crisis

Amazon.com: Empire of Debt: The Rise of an Epic Financial Crisis: Books: William Bonner,Addison Wiggin

A must read. It's a very unique view of American history which should not be missed. Puts a lot of current events into a sensible perspective. Great humor and sarcasm.

Re: Empire of Debt: The Rise of an Epic Financial Crisis

This is an excellent Macro topic to study and prepare for. The Credit Bubble will burst many a portfolio. I personally like to read the Blogging of "Bonddad" to keep up with the danger signals and trends amongst them. Occasionally he's alarmist, but it's good to have someone smarter than me looking for trends and distilling it to me. Bonddad's blog

Hehe, thanks for that pointer. I will definitively look it up.

A good investor is like a good judge. You need to make a good call influenced by a variety of inputs.

Guess why guys like Buffet spend most of the time reading (and Munger btw)...
