Lightbulb Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits and Other Writings (Phil Fisher)

A definite must read.

This book mostly talks about the qualitative aspects investors should look for in companies before they take a position. At first read I was not quite sure about the book. It took me quite some longer time to realise the goldmine this book represents when evaluating a businesse's qualitative aspects (speak moat). If one wants to understand Buffett one needs to read Fisher just as well as one would have to read one's Graham.

Enjoy

Take a look at

The Disciplined Investor - Book, Blog and Podcast

Try the recent podcast, dated 1/13/08, TDI Podcast 40. Its 50:31 mins. of good learning on charting!

I know enough to be dangerous about this, but you will need Itunes. Whatever.
