tell me what you want

I wrote a program that will go through all the U.S Stocks and find all the companies that meet any criteria. for example if you want to show all companies that have a eps > 10, sales > 15, roic > 20, FCF > 10 and so on then i can give you that list. let me know what you would like to see and i will post it for you.

Re: tell me what you want - MasterMind Group?

Thanks for the offer! Having this program is a good starting point. My professional experience is as a Petroleum Engineer, but have been investing in stocks - options for +10 years. Recently have started to become more diligent and active in my equity investing. One of my personal goals is to achieve a level of proficiency and profit so that I have the option to reduce, or quit consulting, and trade equities for a living.

A useful technique that I believe this board would be very useful for is to MasterMind. Rather than individuals throw out requests for individual lists, maybe those interested could detail their personal criteria for investments. We could then jointly discuss what each was selected and narrow down a list of potential investment candidates for discussion. Seems there are lots of postings on this forum, but have found little current and concentrated effort in this regard. But have also read where others believe strictly following Rule #1 will not make one much money... Please advise if it exists elsewhere and I've just missed it.

Maybe we could start by using the Rule #1 criteria, with postings by those with more experience. Am still working to refine my personal strategy, but it's a combination of IBD, Rule #1, and currently reading Stan Weinstens(?) technical trading book...

Thanks for the offer!
Jenkmister
