Help with MACD chart settings on MSN

Hello,

I apologize if this is answered already, I can't seem to find it. If you can point me to the answer, it would be great!

I am new to this, but read Phil's book completely. On page 203 it tells how to customize MACD charts on MSN, which I did about a month ago. It worked great.

I came back to today and it seems like MSN has changed their charts. For some reason, I can't figure out how to modify the MACD settings to 8-17-9 as recommended.

Does anyone have any tips?

Thank you.

Bill

Re: Help with MACD chart settings on MSN

Well I just went to the charts and it worked okay. Make sure you're not on an intraday chart (where it shows the different times of day at the bottom) - click on Analysis in the top toolbar - make sure MACD has a bullet next to it. Then, still under Analysis, go to Settings - click on Analysis at the top. Find the drop-down menu under Technical Indicators - look for MACD - type in 8, 17, 9 in the right places.

Hope this helps.

Tom,

Thank you, it worked. I think I was at intraday charts like you thought.

I really appreciate it!

Also take a look at:

StockCharts.com - Simply the Web's Best Stock Charts

Nice charts and updated quickly. You cannot save your setups (MACD, Stoch. & MA's) without a subsrciption. For our needs it only a couple of mouse clicks & you can run charts to your heart's desire. Once you exit, everything resets.

Best of investing. The tape tells all & your on the correct path!

to Tom Brown 1;

Hello, I just tried looking for the macd charts on MSN money but cannot find them. You told someone else to go to charts and click on analysis on the top toolbar but there is no analysis in the top toolbar ! How do you find the charts? things must have changed at the msn website since you gave that advice.
Signed.........Frustrated

PS someone send me an e-mail on this.....wymanart@comcast.net
