I have often found inconsistencies between MSN and other financial sites especially with the 3 tools. Not sure which is more accurate. Perhaps a more seasoned investor might shed some light.

Re: Reliability of data on MSN?

Well, here's the pertinent information regarding moneycentral's data.

Data providers
Data provided by Commodity Systems Inc. (CSI)
Analyst Recommendations data provided by Zacks Investment Research.
Copyright © 2007 Reuters. Click for Restrictions.
Quotes supplied by ComStock, an Interactive Data company.
StockScouter data provided by Gradient Analytics, Inc.
Page generated 1:22 AM Eastern Time

I've noted some discrepancies on occasion as well... check out PETD's current EPS, for example. Then of course compare it with some other site.

Re: Reliabilyti of data on MSN?

Question, is Money Central the Data collection side of MSN Money? I have pulled up several companies with no Data in certain areas. There has to be a reason for the wholes and inacuracies.

Re: Reliabilyti of data on MSN?

Are you referring to the boxed product that Microsoft used to sell, Microsoft Money? My understanding (and I could be wrong) is that moneycentral.msn.com is the online replacement for all things Money. money.msn.com redirects to moneycentral.msn.com.

The holes in the feeds are proof that a given site can only be as good as its data providers.
