Calculating Your Portfolios Overall Returns

Does anyone know how to accurately do this? A bunch of stocks, some out of the money, others well in profit and varied funds added each month. How does one get an accurate calculation of % returns for the whole portfolio?

Regards

Re: Calculating Your Portfolios Overall Returns

Take a look at Sharebuilder. Their Portfolio calculators were very good. Yahoo has a Portfolio that gives you various accountings, as does Scottrade.
I am sure there is a simple spreadsheet or tool. Try a "Portfolio Optimizer" Google. I know there are tools take will do what you request.

I am aware of spreadsheetmodeling.com/portfolio. Works in Excel.

Also try Nasdaq.com. Take a look at their Portfolio Wizard. That may do the trick for you.
