Bollinger Bands

People have asked about Bollinger Bands. Here is a good example of the constricted B.B.'s, which indicates something is about the happen with price +/-.Then the break out move, with the expansion of the B.B.'s.

With the use of other tools, hopefully you can determine if the breakout move will be positive or negative.

Beautiful chart on the use of Bollinger Bands on the above chart. MACD positve crossover & EMA(8) - (blueish line) w/in the center of the B.B.'s, curling up nice, both team up for a buy signal. Click on the thumbnail chart so you can see it.

Made some cash back on Mar. 17th entry with this setup.

But, last couple of days made some real good money here. Tight stop at $9.50, as EMA(8) is curling down.

Key is the constriction (price consolidation) on the B.B.'s, then the sudden expansion/ seperation of the bands. Look out! Something is going to happen.
