Hi,

Since I live in Europe (netherlands) I do not get the stations that broadcast the Mad Money show.
Does anyone know if I can watch it on the Internet? (live of later?)

thx

I love the show. Maybe for all the wrong reasons though. I somewhat get an incredible boust of schadenfreude when I hear hordes of callers asking the man what to do next.

It's crazy. There are people out there who invest their savings and don't know what they are doing and why they are doing it. Hugely entertaining IMO.

Cramer is very good on sector analysis. His whole show is about sectors in trend. Nevertheless, the man has often ben horribly wrong and the overall score of his recommendations does not beat the index.

But then again, he publicly admits that he was wrong when people saw their stock tanking without knowing why. So he says sorry and I guess that makes it alright. Not.

To answer the original question, I don't know if the broadcast is available on the internet, but the free part of thestreet.com does summarize the show.

Not a big fan of Cramer here, since I have no idea how he valuates or keeps track of so many stocks at once. Definitely isn't fundamental value investing.

Is he on CNBC? You can get some channels (growing list) on Viidoo. Thank you torrent TV!

I' m just reading his book. I think it is entertaining and I must say I love Mrs. Cramer!!!.
He suggests to do your homework of an hour per stock per week. I like investing but that's really a lot of time for investigating stocks. On his site the street.com he names a lot of stocks to buy or to sell. But he is too fast for me: one day he is bullish on a stock and three days later he is bearish on the same stock. :frown:

I feel that Jim Cramer is more of a trader than an investor...

...keep in mind that this is a forum for investors. You might have to go elsewhere to find more talk about trading.

I personally think he is a kook! I listen to his story stocks, run the big 5 numbers and then laugh and shake my head.

BTW - one of his main picks all of the time is CAT. It lost $10 (%14 of it value). Rule #1

I just dislike how he treats stocks as numbers more or less, with a guess as to whether they'll go up or not. I'm sure he does his research, but it's really not in-line with real investing. It's trading and speculation.

Isn't Cramer the only guy PT likes to watch regarding the market? I think that was the name in PT's book.
